Silvan Reservoir

 

We offer walks at:

 

Badger Weir Picnic Area (Yarra Ranges National Park), Healesville, Upper Yarra Reservoir Park, Reefton, Cardinia Reservoir Park, Narre Warren East, Silvan Reservoir Park, Silvan, and Yan Yean Reservoir Park, Yan Yean.

The closest is only one hour from Melbourne. On all of our walks we discuss the Aboriginal and European history of the area and help you discover our unique animals and plants. Tour duration is approximately 3 hours. We also have animal artefacts and pictures to enhance your experience.

Native animals seen and heard on our NIGHT WALKS include:

Greater Gliders ( Australia 's largest gliding possum)

Black Wallabies

Eastern Grey Kangaroos

Insectivorous Bats

Owls

Common Wombats

Eastern Ringtail Possums

Torches/flashlights are provided for Night Walk guests.

NOTE: Tours are usually cancelled on days of Total Fire Ban or bad weather.
